Vasco Badalo

Vasco Badalo (Faro, 2004) is a visual artist based in Olhão, where he has lived since the age of five. A graduate in Visual Arts from the University of Algarve, his practice is centred on drawing and investigates mould as both a visual element and a symbolic metaphor for memory loss. His work explores the processes of deterioration and forgetting, tracing how they spread through the body and obsolete objects and technologies.
