João Lelo
João Lelo, the son of a fisherman, found in photography a way of immortalising the moments, places and small details that so often go unnoticed. His passion for travel, for discovering different cultures and for observing everyday life in Olhão and around the world is reflected in an attentive, sensitive and genuine eye.
After starting out in film photography and later exploring the potential of digital photography, he has developed a visual language shaped by the search for beauty in the simplest of moments, believing that every photograph is a way of preserving time and memory.
