Luis Nestor Ribeiro

He holds a degree in Communication and Cultural Management and completed a PhD programme in Cultural Studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Lisbon. He studied Architecture at the Lisbon School of Fine Arts. He was a senior executive at Radiotelevisão de Portugal (RTP), having held the post of Deputy Director of Executive Production. He pursued a career in Asia for 25 years.

He has devoted himself primarily to painting since 1976, adopting a multidisciplinary approach with an expressionist flavour. He explores different visual languages acquired throughout his international career. He has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions, both in Portugal and in the Far East.
