Irsa Rute Campina 

Originally from Olhão, Irsa Rute Campina returned to her home town for good eight years ago, and it is here that she now develops her artistic work. Despite a career in taxation and finance, it was in drawing and painting – a lifelong passion – that she found her true form of expression. Abstract painting is central to her work; it is the space where she freely explores emotion, colour and imagination. For the artist, standing in front of a blank canvas is a moment of complete surrender, in which everything else ceases to exist.
