On 18, 19 and 20 September 2026, Olhão once again opens its doors to contemporary art with the second edition of the Open Ateliers.

For three days, Portuguese and international artists based in the municipality invite the public into their creative spaces to learn about their processes, discover their work and experience the pulse of the city through art, along a unique walk that takes in studios, people and stories.

More than an event, the Open Ateliers are a meeting point between community and creation, where networks are built, ideas are shared, diversity is promoted and Olhão’s cultural identity is strengthened (and reinvented).
