Elisabete Nunes 

Elisabete Nunes (BETtY) was born in 1977, grew up in Boliqueime and has lived in Olhão since 2001. She first encountered ceramics in 2000 and returned to the practice in 2021, since then devoting herself to developing her skills and her artistic language.

Her work grows out of curiosity, experimentation and the exploration of clay’s possibilities. Interested in how materials behave and in construction processes, she creates pieces that reflect a continuous journey of discovery, research and artistic expression.
