Margarida Sancho holds a degree in Visual Arts and her artistic practice sits between abstraction and expressionism. Inspired by japanese calligraphy, she explores the power of line and gesture through charcoal. In contrast, her african roots are reflected in works of vibrant colour and expressive gesture. This duality gives rise to a singular artistic language, marked by emotion and authenticity.
