Angie Limmen
Angie Limmen is an artist born and raised in Holland, later residing, living and raising a family in Switzerland and has been based mainly in Olhão, Portugal, since 2021. Her artistic path began in Switzerland, where in 2009 she collaborated with the Bruno Weber Sculpture Park, the country’s largest sculpture park. From 2014 onwards, she expanded her practice through experimentation with diverse materials — starting with wood and ceramics, and later incorporating painting and drawing.
Nature and sustainability are central to her work: during her walks and travels she collects natural elements such as twigs, leaves, and seeds, which she integrates with cardboard, boxes, and other recycled materials to create unique images and collages.
