Jop Lissauer

Jop Lissauer is a Dutch contemporary artist inspired by the ever-changing landscapers of the Ria Formosa in the Algarve. Through semi-abstract paintings in acrylic and mixed media, she explore the dialogue between light, color, water, and sky. Rather than depicting the landscape as it is, she aims to capture its atmosphere and the emotions it evokes. Her work invites viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with nature through their own memories and experiences.  Each painting begins with the same place, but never with the same landscape.
